Under the Global Network Statutes, all members have an obligation to protect and promote the integrity of the brand. Therefore, only registered Global Network members are entitled to promote the Global Network concept (standards, implementation criteria and self-audit tool).

All non-members and outside bodies are required to contact the Global Network Coordinating Centre. 

In general, permission may be granted where:

• a relationship exists between the requesting organization and the Global Network
• it can be shown that the use of the concept and materials will further the Global Network's aims in a way that is compatible with its Statutes and policies.
